All That I Have

Today has been all about spreading positivity and love, and making sure nobody feels alone. But it has also been about some sobering issues and the appalling lack of attention we pay them in modern society. Because today, October 10th, is World Mental Health Day. I've said it before on this blog and I'll say it again: mental health is just as important as physical health. The fact is, 1 in 4 people in the UK experience a mental illness - but those are just the people that go to the doctor. An expert I met suspects that up to 1 in 2 people could go through dark periods, whether that constitutes a diagnosable mental illness or not.
